New G2 packing question

Got mine in yesterday and it wasn't sealed. Ordered from my company, Ritz Camera delivered to my house. Whenever we get cameras in normally they aren't sealed either.
I just received the G2 I ordered from Harmony Computers. The Canon
box that contained the camera and all the accessories was not
sealed. Is this normal? I had assumed my camera would come in a
factory sealed box.

If the camera is new,the first thing you should see is time+ date adjustment.

This is the usual way the G2's come packed. I got mine from B&H, and it wasn't sealed.

That's the same way mine arrived from Harmony last week.
Everything was there though and everything works, so I'm not complaining.

Canon has been packing their Digital Cameras like this since the S20 and/or before. The box is not sealed, but, the contents like bagged cables, remote control, software and such should be taped shut.I just received the G2 I ordered from Harmony Computers. The Canon

I was in a local camera shop in my hometown and, out of curiosity, I asked to exam a G2 new in the box. The box was not sealed, the accessories were in separate sealed plastic bags, and the camera was wrapped (but not sealed) in bubble wrap.

Was the box sealed? I don't think Canon seals the boxes. If the box was sealed then I would assume that J&R sealed the box themselves.

Mine came from Harmony the same way!! Cause I was at work and called my mom who was waiting at my house for UPS for me.. I made her open up the box right away and when she said the box inside wasn't sealed I got a bit worried. But then I came home and saw everything in there that was suppose to be and Canon had told me they were an authorized canon dealer so I was sure it was ok..
