I was driving by this park on my way home from a client’s factory in Binghamton NY the other day and decided to try some pictures in the rain and fog. Unfortunately it was late so the images are kind of noisy. Check them out and tell me which is your favorite one. Comments and criticisms are always welcome.

Only had time to check out the curved bank image Craig. Very very nice! I am jealous I have been waiting all winter for the oppurtunity to do some fog shots.

Happy shooting, Rick

Hello Craig,

A good set of fog pictures. I particularly like 74, 75, 80, and 88.

Thanks,

hugh

Craig,

The curve of the bank makes this picture. I really like it. I also like Two Trees but the table in the forground is distracting. If you clone it out I think it would greatly improve that image.

Thanks Hugh, I am glad that you like them.

The one called “Foot Path 688” was actually taken through the front windshield of my car at a red light on the way home, just before the light turned green and the cars started to move. I like the effect of the yellow sign with the blue lighting.

Thanks Rick, I am glad that you like them.

I always try to look at the composition before I press the shutter button. This park had a lot of trees and a frozen pond that has a nice curved shoreline, it was raining lightly and the light was fading fast so I tried to get some good shots before the camera and me got all wet. I like the curved bank too; it leads your eye into the picture. The images came out kind of dark gray but in Photoshop a little levels tweaking fixed them up.

Thanks Osman,

This park has a lot of trees and a frozen pond with a great curved shoreline. I like the way the shoreline leads your eye into the picture. Next time I am in that area I will try to go back to the park and get some more pictures.

I never noticed the table being a distraction on picture “Two Trees 674” but now that you mention it I agree. I will have to clone it out and see how it looks.

Thanks for taking the time to look and comment.
