Can you tell me which one you would buy and why? Thanks for all the help. I did the comparison thing but the real test is probably from those that have used the cameras and I have not used either.

I'd probably buy the Canon S3 IS for its articulated LCD or the Fuji S6500 for its low light ability and 28 mm wide end.Can you tell me which one you would buy and why? Thanks for all the

We're here to serve....Nothing like confusing me more.
That has some bad effects on flash recharge time.On the other hand, the Sony uses AA batteries.

1. Great IQ with very reasonably priced high quality TC and WA adapters. My choice would be the Sony H5 for these reasons:
IMO, all these superzooms are pocketable with some discomfort. Like the old Mae West line in the movie ???: "Is that a pistol in your pocket or are you just happy to see me".Panasonic FZ7 will have better images in good light
FZ7 is pocketable
The H5 does allow zooming while taking movies. No zoom noise detected in my tests.S3 allows you to zoom while taking movie...don't think H5 does

Difference to the FZ7 is only 6 milliseconds, not noticeable2. Fastest Prefocus Shutter Lag- only 11 milliseconds (the most
important lag if you prefocus).
You understand that usable high ISO settings is better than IS?Well, Fuji is out for me as I want optical image stabilization.
The FZ7 is defaulted to the slowest focus mode (stupid Panny!)The other to is so s.l.o.w. in focus
It depends on how many stops. Half a stop ISO is usually lessYou understand that usable high ISO settings is better than IS?Well, Fuji is out for me as I want optical image stabilization.
Depends on the pocket.I have an FZ4 & a Tizzy. The FZ4 (essentially the same as FZ7) is
NOT pocketable.
