Memory card question

At the moment, I've got SanDisk Ultra II memory cards (2 x 1GB + 1 x 512MB "reserve") which seem to do the job although I find I'm changing them more than I'd like so am looking at a bigger card.

With a 5D, will I get significant a performance differnce plumping for one of the "faster" cards (e.g., Extreme II, Extreme III or Extreme IV) or will this speed not be utilised in the 5D? (I've had no trouble with the Ultra II but want to know if I'm missing out on anything!).

I use a 1DMKIIN 8.5fps with a 4gb cf and 2gb sd Sandisk Ultra II the camera is only 8mp not 12 but i use alot of frames and shoot RAW and have no trouble keep up. I can get about 500 frames beforfe changing cards.You can get ultra II cards cheaper know. I buy about one a month. The worst thing i can think of is to run out of (film) while shooting something. Also two spare batts.

Ultra II it is given the negligible speed difference versus price difference.
