I like this shot! I like the composition of the bodyboarder of to one side. If you have any more shots please post.
My guess that it was shot on Maui at Makena Beach or Big Beach! Man I miss the islands. A friend of ours owns the surf/snowboard/windsurfing/kitesurfing company who's label is splashed across the body board.
How long did you stay there and where all did you travel?

Thanks for your comments James. This was at North Shore at a bay (I forgot the name of it).
I was in Oahu for 6 days and we stayed on the island for the entire trip. We had a blast. I will be posting more soon.

Nice shot, that was probably Waimea Bay shore break. Though it could really be a whole host of beaches on the North Shore. I was raised in the Islands and every time I see pic of the beach and surf I get a little homesick.
I will be going back to Oahu in July for a couple weeks and will take my D80 + 18-135mm also the 70-300mm VR. Hopefully this will help me to do battle with my older brother who is a staunch Canon Man with great Canon glass!
We shall see.
