Adorama shipping 50 mm f/1.4

Received email from Adorama that my 50 mm f/1.4 just shipped out 11/22 from my back order that was placed 2 weeks ago!

They must be in the pipeline again. I was told by 17th st photo that they would be shipping my 50 1.4 this next week. No shipping info sent to me yet so I know it isn't shipped, but I am hopeful. When I left my order in place after they told me it was sold out, they said the price would be higher when it came in, but the price that I ordered it at would be honored. I have been searching for this lens for months!

I ordered one today from them, got the email saying it was on backorder. I think I'll just leave it alone for a while and see if they ship it!

I have been spoiled by this lens since I got it last week. It is so versatile. Now I can't take it off. Have not used the 2 kit lenses much. Flash is a must for 18-55 indoors. For out doors, since 50mm is so fast, I can always get a sharp picture and crop part of it (who needs 50-200?).

Wish list: 18mm f/2.0-2.8; 150mm f/2.8. 50mm can do the rest.
