A beautiful young lady for sure. The lighting seems perfect for
the wonderful golden skin tone of your model.

The next to last shot (# 5) with Racquel lying on the sand I see what may just be light reflections on her leg that is somewhat distracting.

Otherwise great series of shots of this young lady.

Well done!

As usual, these are very well done, Chris. I enjoyed viewing them. I'd really like to learn how to shoot the sunset shots like you do. :-)

Wonderful pictures, beautiful skintones, great lighting and colours, excellent work and very tastfully done - very beautiful model too.

I like your style and regulary visit your bpase page. You have a very good eye, and obviously the ability to make your models feel comfortable.

Here in Vienna I would be very happy to have locations like yours. But I try my best to find good locations for bikini shoots here.

This one was done with D200 in septmber in Viennas best public swimming pool. If you want to take a look.

Thanks for sharing. To all others, we would have some sand and a pretty girl, but you turned the beach into a lighting studio!

Warm regards, Dave.
Smile when you answer the phone, they can hear it in your voice.

what kind of technical info are you looking for?

What I do have Capture NX and what bugs is that it seems to be stripping out the flash info. Pbase used to be able to tell if flash was used but now they all say NONE. Grrrr...

Anyhow, D200 and a mix b/w the 70-200 and 17-55 DX f/2.8 lenses.

And I did use my SB-800 for fill flash on almost ALL of the photos. In some cases, I prefered NOT to...here's an example...

Fill-Flash 1/60 @ f/5

Sunlight ONLY 1/125 @ f/5

odd how it metered a faster shutter with the flash off. I just now noticed that. I wonder how the fill flash shot at the same shutter would have looked.
Beautiful girl and superb shots as usual. Any technical info?
Thanks for sharing

...you're not the only one that says this. I just don't believe there is a way to prevent it from happening. Sure, I can edit it out and have very flat looking legs with no detail. But I don't like that. When I see that I can edit them w/o destroying the image, I will. But in this case, the amount of work it would require is an amount of time I don't wish to dedicted to a single image.

now, if a magazine wanted the pic and to have that cleaned up, I'd definately do it. :)

are you coming out for the game? We don't have any promises, but there IS a chance my dad might be able to get tickets for that game. Provided we beat Cal and ND beats whoever they are playing this weekend...wow, this USC vs ND matchup is going to be HUGE as whoever wins is going to have a very very very serious shot at the National Championship with so many teams losing last Saturday.

Looks great!! Sure wish I lived by the ocean so I could take pics like this. Thanks for sharing the pics as well as the technical information. One question if you do not mind. I noticed that you are using pbase to host your pictures, so I assume that you not selling these images. Are you doing this so that you get practice so you can do SI some day (long term) or other magazine work. Just curious.

Again great work. Sure beats taking pics of flowers and birds =)

Thank you very much Christopher.

It makes me very happy to get these kind comments from such a good photographer like you are.

By the way: The most work I had to do, was to retouch all the people in the water and somwhere around in photoshop. I think you don´t have that problem on your favorite location :-)

I would like so much to come to your place and do some shootings together with you (and your beautiful models) and I think there is a lot I can learn from you.

Kind regards

Alfred
