I love my 28-300IS. Outstanding single lens on my FF camera. I use it whenever I want the telephoto range and am reluctant of lens change (on most of my field trips, etc). It performs quite well, and I'm happy with the shots I took with it.

My usual walk-around lens is 24-105L, for cases when I know I won't need longer range.
