Anybody been to Iceland?

And if so any locations that they could recommend for taking good photos?

Also tips on what equiptment to take if going there in November/December - I imagine it get's v.cold so perhaps tips on keeping it working in that temperature...the 30D is not weather sealed :-(

It gets cold, but not so cold as you might think. Not cold enough to worry about your gear. Just be cautious when bringing it inside (keep it in your gear bag, sealed for it to warm up to prevent condensation. some use ziploc bags as well).

Bring a tripod for twilight shooting and practice long exposures. You will have short days by the end of Nov.

Nice things to shoot? Well you can't throw a rock in Iceland without hitting a beautiful photo subject. You will find plenty wherever you go.
