Our water storages have got to critical levels as you can see from the full level some 10m higher. We were on the lake fishing for bass when a storm built up and the rain came down, it was a welcome sight to see. Lucky I had the camera with me, no fish shots though! Praying for more rain.

Yes it is a welcome sight.

Now all the country needs is a good 1-2 metres of rain over the next couple of months. Got a snowball's chance of that happening though :(

Hi Dave & Richard, I agree with 4, when the sun lit up the far bank with the storm behind it I just knew it was time I held my breath & squeezed, sometimes you just know you've caught it.

Dave not sure on file size, send @ 800 to photobucket and this is what happens. Thanks for comments.

  1. 4 is my favourtite. Pretty savage looking storm, the peli's seemed to be enjoying it. Hope your camera didn't get to wet!

Hi Ben, Pelis were loving it, waterproofed the DL2, sprayed with WD40
LOL

Cideaway, agree with 4, I'm might have to start looking for my Special K in a Kellogs Pack.

Hi Paul, fishing on Cresbrook Dam TBA casing bass on lures, not a good day though - 0.
Nix, I agree and glad you like 1 too, I thought it wasn't bad.

Glad that you finally had some rain and got some really nice photos. I agree, number four is outstanding. So who cares that the bass were not biting, they will be there next time.

BTW, must try this WD 40 thing next time I take my K100D out in the rain. :-) Take care,

I'm sure it was a great relief. May we all get much more.

No 4 has a very appealing painterly feel to it. Very nice.
