Yet anothe grey overcast day here in sunny Florida. I am thinking no pictures today. Being as stubborn as I am I took one anyway. I think this shot was actually helped by all the grey in the scene.

David Davies - You're right of course Jim. Some of the most appealing water colours I've seen have used earth colours with just a dash of single colour. They look natural and striking and I think the same holds good for using the greys of nature.
 
this, looks very artistic... sort of surreal...
... You demonstrate very nicely how nature does, selective colour...

like the other guys say, this is a very calm photo, easy and compelling to look at and think about. Very good job of photoagraphy, IMO.

I think this is a stunning photo. The color in a cloudy day coupled with a portrait view is really very, very nice.
