Yet anothe grey overcast day here in sunny Florida. I am thinking no pictures today. Being as stubborn as I am I took one anyway. I think this shot was actually helped by all the grey in the scene.

NIce pic Jim. It almost looks like that post processing effect where you have the main subject in color and everything else in B&W. Here you got the cool effect without the PP work!

David Davies - You're right of course Jim. Some of the most appealing water colours I've seen have used earth colours with just a dash of single colour. They look natural and striking and I think the same holds good for using the greys of nature.

this, looks very artistic... sort of surreal...
... You demonstrate very nicely how nature does, selective colour...

like the other guys say, this is a very calm photo, easy and compelling to look at and think about. Very good job of photoagraphy, IMO.
