Show us your Fall Colors!

This one is from last year... The weather hasn't been very good this year, so I haven't been able to shoot the vineyards yet. Hopefully this weekend...

I wanted to do some 4x6 foot prints of individual leaves, and the d2x just didn't have the resolution.

Shot with an Epson 4870 at 4800 dpi.

George;

Those bring back such great memories of the June Lake area we used to visit each year. (Lived in Reno) Here in Florida we can only dream. Thanks for the memories!!

Rick

P.S. Beautiful work BTW.

I am surprised this thread is still active after a month has passed. Fall was nice here and I went across Colorado the first of the month. There are some fall galleries on my Pbase site if you care to have a look. Steamboat Springs was really nice. John

Here in the northern parts of Deep South, the rain has washed the leaves off many trees. However, I was able to get a few shots of other colors:

Ornamental shrub, RED

Devil's puff ball (about the size of a pea) in some moss: Green-White-Brown

small purple seeds

small rose hips with them thar purple seeds

Some FCAS technique used even though I'm not a member.
