A few of my daughter and friend on Halloween using 3 AB400s (SB for main, bounced umbrella for fill, and 20 deg grid pointed towards hair), ISO 100, f8-

They did their shopping for Halloween at Goodwill (charity store), so not my tie, LOL. They sure did have fun.

Heh. Just joking. Though these photos are probably offensive to someone here... seems like every other Halloween costume has been!

Only suggestion would be to throw a little light on the background so it's not pure black. Even black backgrounds usually look better with a little light on them.

Interestingly my daughter didn't know what a nerd looked like and is suppose to dress up like a nerd for some school project next week... I'm a hero 'cause I could show her your most excellent examples of what a nerd should look like... nice images. Thanks for sharing.
Doug.

Thanks. I will consider that a compliment. Could you give me a link to where you think would be best to submit stock photos?

You might want to try these:

(They're referral links, if you sign up, I get a bonus. :-)

I started with these a few months ago and I'm doing well with them now. It's hard work, but if you get a number of images up, you start receiving checks even when you're not "working."

There are varied and valid points on macro verse microstocks, but the micros are easier to hit the ground running with and lately it seems even some of the macros are embracing the micros, possibly targeting a different buyer/segment of the market.

In the end, I see them as a stepping stone to bigger and better things.
Good luck if you give any of them a try!
