Thank you very much

It seems that the prophets of unbearable noise will be worried: with every advance of firmware image quality improves... Oh, well, who cares!

noise similar to a100, firmware 0.3x so maybe will by better soon ... but Pentax people said that they more like noise with details not nonoise&nodetails ...

Good enough, comparing to my oly e300.

Hope updated firmware will improve it.

Tks for info :-)

Another said : 'Half-empty.'
Then come ME, who said : 'Geee . . . May be it's poisoned.'

Coming from sony forums, you wish it was similar to A100. Well, take my word for this one: it will never be so. Pentax can't afford such a mistake.

i havnt got A100, i have s5200 made by FUJI :)

only i loogking for this pics with normal, nor fanatic point of view... im considering a100, k100d and k10d (ony this 3 models) and when i can see noise i can say "ooo noise on this pentax picture! ". You said that pentax cant afford such a mistake? Sony can? yes its a big company which like "dont earn" ...

Thank you very much. The image of the watch is the first high ISO image I have seen that begins to be genuinely informative.

I am sorry to see this image, though. It is very "gritty." What I can't tell yet is how a full-size image at ISO 800 would look after noise reduction, sharpening, and printing on 8-1/2 x 11" A4 paper. That is generally what I do with images I like.

Today the news is a bit discouraging.
