Shortly, I plan to buy a new camera. When I look at the reviews, they suggest comparing full size images. I would like to compare my old camera images to the new camera image. How can I create and view a full size image? Whenever I look at an image on my machine, Microsoft Windows Picture and Fax Viewer always fits the picture to the screen.

This link has an example of full size images.

One of the small toolbar buttons at the bottom of picture and fax viewer lets you view the full size image. You'll have to scroll around after that.

This might be a good time to download IrfanView - a piece of Freeware that's immensely useful with all types of image and movie files.

It's worth having just for the ability to rotate JPGs without loss of quality - but has many other uses, including a much better full-size viewing facility than WinExplorer. Also, it supports (lets you see) many file formats that WinExp only displays as icons.
