Egret 2

Beautiful composition and detail, Larry. Great job on the whites.
Only wish it was bigger :-)

All the best,

LMC54 Stunning, this photo is so elegant and well taken, you caught this beautiful bird at its best. DL--Dog Leader 2100/B300

Hi Larry,

VERY NICE!!!!!! This Egret looks like "royalty" at least projects that it thinks so. :-) Really like your composition and nice shallow depth of field. This is definately "dating" me a bit, but I believe this bird "stole" his stance from Ian Anderson, lead singer, flutist, and composer for the "old" rock group "Jethro Tull". :-) Anderson spent much of his time in poses very similar to this during his flute solos in concert! Thanks for sharing . Curt A.

Hi Curt, Your analoge of the rock stars to this guys is really good. Their movements and stance does remind one of a egret. :) I never even thought about it, but now every time I listen to these bands I'll always think of your comment. Too funny. Appreciate your time to view this curt and always greatful for your wonderful comments. Thanks so much.
with respect,
Larry

Larry

perfection as usual though must admit egret #1 had a more special pose (hope it is the right word to describe the dinamics of her twisting while standing) and I still carry her in my mind and reffers friend to it

Thanks

Larry, this is beautiful. Egrets have quickly become my favorite bird...so graceful. The Brazilian 5 dollar bill is a picture of an egret (actually, similar pose to your photo). I kept it as a souveneir. Please keep posting your egret pictures...I absolutely love them!
Thanks!
Tammy
