I picked up this one as I wanted more flexibility. Can use it as a monopod while seated at a concert as well by extending one of the legs to height and being discreet in the process. Folds to slightly over 9". Not really high enough for me (6'5"), but for it's size, I can deal with that.

This Pedco Ultrapod I weights only 1.7 oz. (including the supplied velcro strap, not shown, used for attaching it to a street sign/tree branch/parkbench etc.). It folds to about 4 in. and is my F11's constant pocket companion. It is even sturdy enough for extreme telephoto work I do with the 10X Zeiss monocular shown:



Don't try hand holding a 1080 mm (35mm equivalent) lens!

If you really like the Gorilla pod, they can be purchased elsewhere for around $24.00...google it and look for other sellers...

The other suggestions look very nice as well...

Your f11 has turned to pinochio! What nose is it that the little cam is wearing? I have an F30 so I'm more than curious. please post some pix you've taken with that weird but cute combo.

I posted before about the mini Gorilla pod. Best little gimmick I've ever bought for photography.

I've attached it to tree branches, hockey arena railings, microphone stands, a wine bottle, kitchen cupboard handles, chair arms, etc. - for some great no-shake shots and video, as well as interesing angles.

My girlfriend won't let me attach it to the ceiling fan though... Ha.

It also comes with an adaptor to lock into the pod that you can leave on your camera. So small it hardly makes a difference to the F30 dimensions... See:
