I was at the zoo this week (Lowry Park for those of you in Tampa) and I got a bunch of great shots, at least I think they're great
Anyway, I posted some of them at http://pics.splatsosoft.com

I'll try and post some exposure info, but it was all on automatic
using the matrix metering. For water shots I was using a CP to try
and cut out glare. White balance was set to AWB except for the
goat picture which I decided to try out the Cloudy setting (it was
cloudy out) this improved color slightly, but it really just seemd
to increase the red saturation.
I'm using the new firmware and the AF worked quite well for most
shots. The I got a few blurry shots but they were not out of focus
for the most part just long exposure being hand held. The one shot
of the hugging monkeys is the one shot I wish the AF did a better
job, but them being all black, I couln't tell they were out of
focus until I opend it in PS.

Most of the water pictures have a zoom of about 70mm, the other
animal shots are close to 200mm

What do you have your contrast set to? I have mine at -1 and some
shots came out with good contrast, some are only so-so, although
the lighting wasn't that good and some shots were behind glass,
which probably had something to do with it.
