Here and gone (H1)

I love these pictures! I love number 2 so much, the water is so silky smooth and the leaves leave such a delicate impression on it. I also like the butterfly and his shadow, that was a great capture!

Thank you for sharing - I agree too, that fall is much too short!

Photography makes the impossible possible....you can capture a moment, freeze it in time and keep it forever!

second photo has to be one of the best autumn leaf photographs ever made. You could have a one man show with one that photo.

I'm humbled by the nice comments. And I really appreciate them.

The only thing I do with this hobby is make computer wallpaper for myself (to bring the outside in), and try to see how others feel by sharing a few with this forum, a few friends, and an occasional contest. Thank you so much for your replies. Sharing is cool.

I see the surrealism, but it's real (with a good dose of noise reduction).

It was a good-looking shot to me when I took it, and when I saw it on my computer moniter I thought it was very good. But when I applied a bit of noise-reduction is PSPX, I was floored. Sometimes I feel I have no control over these things. Just lucky. Ahhh....Nature.
