Hi y'all,

Met this guy in a bar last night.
Told me his life's story.

Sad story......

Bye,
Peter Dumont

Geez. I watched the movie "Lucky Number Slevin" last night and the guy in your photos looks so much like the character played by Bruce Willis in the movie. Especially the second shot. Very nicely exposed photos!! Thanks for posting.

A picture is worth a thousand words, at least....

It's not all flowers and kittens. These are great candid/portraits.
Thanks,
Kurt

Very well done, Peter!

Was his story good? ;-)

Take the scenic route! Life is too short to do otherwise.

Those shots are amazing. Perfect. So clear and you really captured his soul I think. I'd like to hear his sad story....your pictures are compelling.

Photography makes the impossible possible....you can capture a moment, freeze it in time and keep it forever!

... good pictures. Like yr sculptures and paintings, too.

1/80, f5.0 ISO160 isn't really low light.
Wonderful colors.

The light was very low, but I used flash (bounced from the low ceiling)

without using the AF assist lamp and got a decent performance from my R1 (AF-wise ).

Bye,

was he aware you were taking the photographs?

In any case nicely done Peter.
