To those with Elements 5...

I tried to use the 'Adjust Color for Skin Tone' tool under Enhance> Adjust Color. I didn't like the way Elements adjusted the color. According to the help menu there should be sliders for you to manually adjust the coloring.

I don't have any sliders!! Is this a universal problem or am I missing something?

Thanks for any help or ideas.

Bobbie

You first have to click on a persons skin tone, then the slider will show up under Skin and Ambient Light.

How right you are!!

I was clicking Cancel when I didn't like the auto results. I never paid attention to the sliders that were there "before" I clicked cancel.

I'll pay more attention next time!!

Thanks again.

version 5.0 is a lot faster than version 4.0.

Version 5.0 has curves and lens correction. The perspective correction is very useful indeed. But it has no more the undo/redo in the taskbar. The taskbar has disappeared.

You have to get used to that. But I am quite happy with version 5.0
Do you like 5 better than 4? Enough to buy again?

The Redo/Undo option is now part of the Edit option.
It always was there, too. The easiest way is just to use the keystrokes: Ctrl+Z for undo, Ctrl+Y for redo. It's a heck of a lot faster than mousing all the way up to the shortcuts bar.
