I went to the Chinese Lantern Festival yesterday, and also took pictures of Ontario Place itself and the Toronto waterfront. These were all taken with the Canon 5D/24-105L. I didn't have a tripod with me, but managed to find some solid support for the camera. Any comments would be appreciated.

I like the last one too Robert. But, I would clone out the
distracting object in the sky.
Thanks. I think it's the lights of a plane, and I considered removing it but thought it was part of the reality, so I left it in. I may remove it yet.

Very nice, the last is my favorite. How long did you expose for it?

Photography is a never ending tug of war in compromises.

Beautiful photos! must say you're definantly one of my top 3 favorites at SS...

Nice, like the 1st best. Next time try bracketing the exposures, it gives us a fighting chance to get those hard to expose night shots. This 1 was over exposed a bit but still nice. The 3rd was very nice too!!!

I actually underexpose the main exposure -1/3-1/2, then have a 2/3-1 stop bracket around this. But I am sure there may be better settings, as the metering is very important. Give it a try, tripod necessary!! :))
