I recently purchased the E-20, so I am going to put my E-10 up on eBay, but thought I'd check here first. Please email me if you would be interested.

Chris,

I have had my E-20N for a week and am having AF problems described in a current front page thread. A few others have responded describing similar disappointment. Still others describe no such difficulty.

Let us know about your new camera. You're already experienced with the E-10 so there should be no bad habits or learning curve. I would REALLY value your firsthand impressions of the E-20.

Feel free to contact me at: [email protected] or I will keep an eye open for a posting here.

You will love the E10. I bought mine for 1200 US dollars a few months ago and saved a lot compared to buying when they came out. I will not be buying the E20 as I believe it is only a stop gap between the 6mp oly with interchangable lenes. I will take a close look at that one. I will keep my E10 however and probally give it to my 14 year old son... Well maybe.

Where did you find an E-10 for $1200? If you don't mind me asking?

Mark,

Had my E-10 for almost a year before purchasing the E-20. Took the E-20 on a business trip to Europe for a week and a half last month and took lots of pictures. Worked great.

I initially had trouble with the E-10 taking indoor pictures in P-mode. I now use A-Mode and have never had a problem with either camera. Are you having trouble with the camera's AF inside or out?

I have pictures from both cameras up on pbase:

I purchased it from a friend and it wasn’t 1200 (typo) I paid 1100 for it. It was in mint cond, and he threw in the FL 40, and Oly WA lens. He purchased a Canon D30 and gave me the E10 at a price I couldn’t say no to. I was very lucky indeed and hope to get a great deal on a 6mp when they come out.

If you loved the E10 why did you buy the E20? Do you now think the E20 is better then the E10?

Thanks

Howard,

I think the E-20 is better than the E-10, but not by a lot. Other than the resolution, I haven't had much use for the electronic shutter. I like to do large prints, so it is a little better for that.

Oh, and I am very impulsive. :-)
