D80 in hard times

I'm not too sure what you are asking, but if it's the fact you are not satisfied with the result of that picture, it seems that:
  • You are in a low light situation.
  • F/32 AND ISO 3200 is not forgiving at all, for any camera.
  • Why would you shoot this shot at F/32?
  • Tell me what camera could combine the Aperture and ISO you used with satisfying results?
Under the circumstance I think it is a good result, much better than the average. If that's what you are trying to say, than I agree with you.

Maybe a Pro lens would have given a much better result, like the 17-55?

I think he said he wanted to see what the limits on the camera was, I myself like the picture seeing it was at iso3200 and f32.
