Thanks for the compliment. I shoot with a D50 with a 50 1.8D. I ruined about 140 photos because I had the WB set incorrectly—I was shooting indoors earlier in the day. The 50mm lens hasn't left my camera since It arrived two weeks ago. I definitely want more glass, there is just a ton of ideas I can see, but I can't reach them with 50mm. But, the limitations are certainly stretching my creative capabilities.

I love the isolated color in your first shot. Wonderful drama. I relish the spontaneity of pulling over on a whim and shooting what instantly tickles your fancy.

Very nice collection. I enjoyed your slideshow. Very soothing. Thank you for sharing this fine gallery.

Amazing how some of the best photos come up unexpectedly. I was going to the family farm to go back in the woods hoping to get some wildlife photos. When I almost got to the barn, it jumped out to me with the sun bringing out some nice colors. I pulled over to the side of the road and got this.

I was looking fro a piebald deer that had been spotted in the area. I was able to get these two does grazing on clover.

The next two weeks should be our best time for "leaves" but here are a couple of other "Fall" colors...

And last but not least, since I never made it to "the park" this year, but because we are all pretty excited about our current position - I couldn't resist...

These are the "fall colors" we in Michigan are REALLY excited about!
