Na, I dont think they are old, they are as good as current cameras, the reason is that tack sharp, fast focussing, F2.0-F2-5 lens. Maybe the 159 MB per disc are a bit out of time but I can live with it. The forum are ruled by "the newsest is always the greatest"Hey Martin,
I was hoping that someday I would hear the great ole Mavica CD500
get mentioned. I actually....through repairs and need for a
backups.....ended up with 3 of those camera's that I still won't
let go of. Great camera's....a little ahead of their time when
they first came out.
I was kind hoping for Sony to take that
further with a Blue-Ray DVD mini-disc version. Around 30 gigs on a
single disc would be impressive. I guess when you mention anything
about Sony you'll never know when they will surprize you!
your right marf. I guess I was referring to "good ole" more as "classic"....has been around for a bit but it still is a gem. I still use that camera at sundown for outdoor weddings....great low-light focus etc.Na, I dont think they are old, they are as good as current cameras,
