Yes, I know - a stupid question!

In the past with another camera I have reformatted a card to clear all data. This time I thought that I would check first in the manual as to the procedure when the card is full. I cannot find a clear statement as to how to proceed.

I presume that I simply delete all pictures, allowing the numbering to carry on. Reformatting will clear everything and numbering will start from scratch.
Am I right?
Thanks for your patience!

1) No question is stupid.

2) You can just delete the pics if you'd like. Reformatting is NOT required, but even if you do that, it will not start the numbering sequence over again. But, reformatting is sometimes quicker, according to your delete method.

You should reformat every once in a while to keep your card healthy.
You do not need to fill a card... empty it as often as you wish....
