A blackpool Day out..

Took a trip to Blackpool in the uk over the weekend, weather turned out a treat and it gave my EOS 350 and Sigma 10-20mm a run out.. here are a pick of the best shots, comments always welcome.

Most of these have had pp done on them to enhance.

Oh wow. Loved to see your photos of Blacky!!! You made me feel so homesick (lived in Australia for the last 15 yrs) I really liked the last shot-------so moody and really caught the spirit of Blackpool (I can smell the chips from here) . Great photos Thanks.

Pleasure! if it brought back memories of Blackppool for you im glad i put them up.. and the fish and chips were sooooooooooo good!

Hi Sewinghair

My house is at the end of the illuminations.

Give me a shout if you want a photo of the fish and chips. I need to get some practice in with my 350D as I cant get my shotsanything like the posters shots.

Not that often you see Blackpool and sunny skies. Often portrayed on washed out rainy days on TV, which is as hame. Nice pictures

Great shots! Brings back memories of my visit to Blackpool while visiting for a month in the UK in 1970. Had a lot of fun there.

Hi

well you can t say that you don t have anything to take pictures of eh?? Practice makes perfect-----------well thats debatable in my case !! I have really good memories of Blackpool and when I do get back to the UK I always try to get a day out there.

Get out there and take some pictures-------not often the weather is that good eh?

The thing is it probably hasnt changed all that much either! I think there finally starying to develop it.
