have an Olympus SP350 and its driving me nuts. I want to set it up so that each time I turn it on, and no matter which mode I'm in (Auto, Scene, etc) that it will default to something other than the HQ setting for image resolution. Most of my photos I simply email, and so I would prefer the camera to default to the SQ1 or SQ2 settings and that I manually set it to HQ when I am taking a photo that I want the higher resolution for.
However I can't find anywhere in the manual or the menu on the camera how to do this. If I go to P mode, for example, and set the resolution to SQ1, when I switch the camera off and then back on again, its gone back to HQ and I then have to set it up again before taking a shot. All very frustrasting.
I used to have an Olympus C-40ZOOM and I know I could set up the default to a lower resolution on this (and in fact could set the default to different settings for each of the different modes, which was very handy)
Can anyone help me here???
