Here is where you can post what you plan on photographing this weekend. It's getting to be fall here in the great north-east and I am sure many will be out captuing the foliage.

For something really different, tomorrow I am going to Lehigh Valley International Airport and hope I can gain entry to an AIRPLANE PULLING CONTEST, which is a fund raiser for MDA. I've never seen such an event and I am excited about what kind of pictures I might get.

Your turn.

This is the first weekend. Lots of activities and the entire grounds are covered in Depression Era buildings adorned with beautiful art deco designs. I'll be heading there with my E-1 and 7-14, plus maybe another lens in a small hip pack. Security these days makes it hard to get into places like this with a full bag of stuff. Besides, I need to be fairly unencumbered so I can consume corny dogs and whatever else I can get my hands on....

We likely will be doing the Conneticut renaissance faire this weekend, though it will mean my backlog will now be 3 faires of unprocessed photos (Maryland Renaissance Festival, Salem Mass. Pirate Festival):

I will be shooting Highschool football and the LowerValley State Fair. Maybe some other things... unknown as of yet!

Hi, Mort. It seems that every couple of years around this time I temporarily forsake the city to make the rounds of some agricultural fairs. I started last weekend with the Bolton Fair here in Massachusetts. Here are three samples from last Sunday:

Cheers and happy shooting,
Bob

Time to put down the E-1 for a day and break out the 12gauge.

fall foliage in mn arboretum and dance recital, possibly a giant corn maze should be a challenge.

which I got a few shots of this evening (Friday), I will post some once I U/L them to my page. The festival actually goes on all wkend, but not sure if I'll make it back out there.

A bit of rain tonight, only had about 10 minutes before all the balloons began to deflate due to pending storm. (Although the water droplets on my 11-22 made for some interesting effects!)

Tomorrow morning it's more kids' football!
