the flash freezes the flow of water and burns through to the bottom of this creek about 3 inches deep...and gives a jewel like effect

same idea.. different leaf:)

and shot without fash.. hand held 1/8 sec

(I'm very proud of this pic, because I was balancing on another rock about 4inches square, when I shot this)

goodness my little park across the way is a fun place to take a camera...
I got a whole whack of other things too... just before the sun went down today.

I'm speechless, or should I say typeless ! You are amazing ! I never see that kind of thing through my lens (course I haven't been to many streams lately either). I love looking at the world through your eyes. They almost look like paintings. With your permission - may I use one of your photos to apply a water color treatment on in PSE ?

it was fun playing around with the 7590... it's just so easy to shoot with:)

water colour treatment??? is that a pun? ... since these are pics of wet leaves maybe they'll respond nicely to your water colour treatment.. Let's see.. You got me curious yellow.

I like the third photo because you get to see the water and its actions. I find it more interesting to look at than the one with flash.
