Much better example. I'd say it's the equal of any sample I've ever seen that shows what that lens is capable of.

Look at the eyes and surrounding areas in his fur. Honestly, there's nothing "unsharp" about that photo. I'd give you a 100% crop, but it's on my computer that's about 75 miles away. It doesn't have the DOF that the other posted photo has, but it's certainly sharp.

Like I said, maybe it's just the posted size or something going on but it doesn't appear as sharp (even just the eyes) as other examples I've seen.
