Hey fellow Nikonians,

Need your help. I am open to all system as i own Canon digital and Nikon film slrs... i would however like to sell my Nikon Film Slrs and try out a Nikon d80. Both Systems have their own advantages and i have nikon glass already. However i found out that D80 only accepts SD cards... I don't know if this is the right place to post but if you guys have a 2GB SD card and would like to trade for a CF card... Please e-mail me at [email protected].

p.s.
Should anybody find this post inappropriate, i apologize....

Since CF is rather sensitive and since SD is dirt cheap these days I doubt that you will find many takers for this deal.

Circuit city has a sale this week, free 2GB memory (extreme III) with the D80

I think it means free 2bg stick and $50 to upgrade to a extreme III memory, I'm confused now.

circuit city has the extreme III 2 gb sd card as a 50.00 upgrade if you buy the d80 kit, which IMHO is a good deal.

also not that this will help you now unless circuit city still has the sale going on, they had extreme III 2 gb SD cards on sale last week, it was an in store only, unadvertised sale. they were selling them for 69.99 and then there was a 15.00 rebate which brought the card price to 54.99. i couldnt believe it and asked if it was a joke, it wasnt and i bought 4 of them. it was in the store only and not advertised on the website or sales circulars. check it out it may still be going on???

Thanks guys. Question, i don't really care much for the 18-135 but is it a good lens? How much does it sell? 1299 with the kit and Sd card... is this a good deal?

What is it about the lens you do not like? It works fine for me. I like the range it gives me so I can use just one lens instead of carrying a few around. I am still becoming familiar with the camera and lens, but here is what I have done with it so far. http://www.pbase.com/jeffryz/nikon_d80_pictures

The $1299 for the D80 body and the 18- 135mm lens is the going price. Including a memory card is a good deal. As I read the Circuit City ad, they are offering a (un- named here) card free with the package and if you want to upgrade to the Sandisc it will cost $50 more.

I finally have my gallery under construction. You can view it here: http://www.pbase.com/jeffryz/galleries

Nice Gallery, well i am not really a big fan of superzooms... however i am impressed with your gallery. So anybody want to trade their cards?
