My dream Canon lens

To be short- I shoot wildlife and dream of Canon EF 600/f5.6 IS with some better DO technology to make it 'light'. It's never gonna happen, though. What's your dream?
 
I've written 'better' DO technology on purpose- 400/4 DO DOesn't impress me.
 
70-200/2L IS - $2500 (yeah...right)

100-300/2.8L IS - $4000 with optics as good as the 300/2.8L IS (same comment)

I'd settle for the 500 f/4 IS and cropping up to the 15% needed to achieve the same draw-down.

As for my "dream" lens, a 200 f/1.8 L IS, based on the original. Otherwise, a 5-5000 f/1.0 L IS, with interchangeable black/white housing and integrated gimbal. Not too much to ask for, right?

20 f/1.8L - This has to be on par with the legendary Zeiss distagon 21
35-70 f/2L IS - Super fast zoom, with IS

135-400 f/4.8L IS - Intermediate speed, size and price compared to the 200-400 f/4 everyone wants but hardly anyone could affors or carry.
600 f/5.6L IS - or if they could keep the price down, a 600 f/4.5 DO IS.

no need to be F2.8 but it's gotta be wide...
 
24-105 f4L IS, oh wait, I have that.

Then it would have to be a 135f2L IS

But I like the thinking of the poster who wants a 20mm 1.8 (I'd settle for f2) and the 135-400 f4.5L IS.

Once I get that, I'll have everything I need in glass (but not everything I want). From there on out, I'll be mainly interested in better bodies, not better glass, but that doesn't mean I won't be adding quite a few more lenses! : )
