Finally received this little critter.

Was very disappointed in finding that it does not seem to provide a way to lock the shutter open when taking "bulb" exposures.

The "manual" is really ridicolous at least in the languages I can read.

I seem only to be able to trigger immediately (the little circle), trigger after a 2 sec delay (the number 2) and lock the thing off to avoid misfires (the L letter).

Any corrections to this ?

Thanks

I believe that to use "bulb" shutter speed with the RC-1, you set the camera to "Bulb" and press the release on the RC-1 once to open the shutter, and press it again to close the shutter.

Hope this helps,

I believe if you set your camera to bulb mode, the first press will lock the shutter in opened position. What camera are you using?

As others have said, you should indeed be able to do bulb mode, though have to change the in-camera setting just as you would normally.

Then if I recall, indeed one click on the RC-1 to open, one to close.
