No this isn't a SPAM thread. I really want to buy your FZ20. I know many of you are looking to upgrade to the FZ30 and 50. I currently have the FZ15 and after getting comfortable w/ my camera I've realized how important I need the hotshoe adaptor (FZ15 doesn't have one) I know there is many FZ20 owners still out there!

I have several , and I mean several, other cameras.

Would'nt part with my '20 for anything.
I so often need that speed at end of zoom. Not many cams have that.

I might even my an extra fz20 for myself.

I've looked on ebay and its mostly vendors who still are asking a premium. I think they're trying to take advantage of newbie buyers who aren't aware of the newer FZ30 and FZ50. Plus commonsense tells me there's going to be more FZ20 owners here who are debating about making that move up to the 30 and 50. I'm just here trying to make thier decision easier.

An FZ20 for $300 is a great deal. I know folks like the improvements on the FZ30, but the FZ20 is still one heck of a camera. It has it's limitations...but can certainly take some great pictures....and even more of them once you learn your way around it.

I'm content to keep mine for a while until I see what is happening with the Pany that will replace the FZ50 and how things change in the DSLR market. I have a strong hunch that I'll want to add a digital SLR to my bag...and keep theFZ20 for when it's a better choice.

WOW! I got more replies than I expected! One thing I failed to mention is I'm only interested in the camera and not additional accessories. I have enough goodies that I'll be keeping from my FZ15.

I bought the FZ20 as a backup for my FZ10 which I still use. I've thought about getting another FZ20, it is one heck of a camera.

I'm betting theres alot of us FZ20 owners who skipped the upgrade to the FZ30, and are going to forgo the "upgrade" to the FZ50 for a dSLR but KEEP thier trusty FZ20 for that awesome (and now paid for) zoom! That's what I'm doing! (hello Pentax K10D

Love my FZ20 for what it is... not sure what Panny's thinking with Venus III.

I think even if the bid didn't go up anymore it would be wiser to spend the extra $20 and get a new one with full warranty.

I skipped the "upgrades" (matter of opinion) and already have DSLRs but still use my FZ10 a lot.

I've always had good luck and I beleive that they consistantly underrate the condiition of their use product. I can't tell like new or ln- from new.

They also warrant the condition of their product and you satisfaction with it.
