My first born [3 img]

Joachim,

Congratulations! Many times over. And the best to your wife.

Since having children (27 AND 23 now) I have found that they are the template by which I measure my life. I can not possibly imagine a life never having had them. They are just that wonderful.

The very best to you both, and the little one, and may your joy know no boundaries.

Good reason now to get that 31 LTD. It's cheaper than flying Frank in to do a shoot. LOL :0)1

Forgot the translation: "Welcome, new citizen of the earth!" - roughly translated from German. Sounds less formal in German, I assure you, and wishes the newborn well.

I was too quick in hitting the "Post" button, sorry!

Congratulations Joachin!

Beautiful pics & baby. If you liked to sleep at night... forget about it during some time ;)

Hello again,

I don't have time to answer each one here, so I'll use this space to thank you all for your overwhealming support and kind words! This does indeed feel absolutely great, and it sure is a special time. I'm sure, as someone pointed out, that night and morning sleep-ins are out, but I am going to be naive about it and say that I really do not care ;) Haven't slept much in the last three days, but to tell you the truth, I couldn't be happier.

I will definately, as mentioned and requested, post more pictures.

I'll start with a couple of the shots taken today, and I promise not to flood the forum too much with newborn photos ;)

Right now though, its off to bed for me. Back to the hospital in the morning ;)

I am aware of the sensor-dust problem, but I havent had time to clean either the sensor, or fix up the mess in PP...

Must be all the K10D stuff.

Congratulations Joachim. He is a reall stunner.

Now the next important thing is to start putting a bit of cash away to buy him a future new KeverythingD when he is old enough to become a real Pentax man. :-)

Now, don't you stop shooting at that little fellow. And keep us informed (ala frank) of his progress.

Thanks for showing.
