return to big sur (pics)..........

i recently spent a few days on the monterey peninsula recently while there i made a trip out to big sur.

the sky was gray and the grass was brown and i drove the old road from bixby bridge to andrew molera state park which was a first for me.

all landscapes were shot with 17-40L and the rest with 24-70L.

the painting of jimi hendrix was on an old gas station on the seaside/monterey border about .5 miles from the fairgrounds where the monterey pop festival took place in the summer of love .

I really like the picture of the Chair in the the stream/creek.

That's a beautiful area but your shots don't reflect what I saw there! Of course we had a beautiful day with blue/clear sky and water. I'm not into "artsy" so it most likely my problem.

Now you're talking! That's the area I remember. Very nice. I had taken a couple very similar to yours but in general yours are much nicer.
