So far so good. Very impressed with build and quality of images. Camera itself looks amazing. Noise levels are way low for a camera this small. I'm still getting use to the interface, but it's genius. I don't really like the aspect ratio, I don't know if that is adjustable. I didn't see it in the mega pixels settings. The camera operates quickly and is flat out a joy to use.

For those that are curious, I'm in the San Diego area. Saw on circuit city's website they had them in stock in several stores in SD. Called up the store near my home and they said they didn't see it. I explained that on their website site, it says they have them in stock. So he checked the warehouse and what do ya know, they had 5. Drove over there and picked one up without a hassel, plus no interest till 2008 ;)

Here are some quick snap shots, full version can be viewed on my flickr page...

note: No post processing (but when I did run them through my usual photoshop adjustments, they were fantastic!)...

What can you say about noise in photos taken without flash in low light?

Have you tried movie mode and what can you say about it?

Thanks for posting.

I am starting to look for a small digicam for my wife to use.
The NV7 and NV10 look like nice little cameras.

Hai Mike any update on your NV10, how is it after a few days ? likes and dislikes please?

Thanks

A little offtopic from me, sorry in advance.

Today I saw NV10 in a shop and it does looks really good. I didn't expect to be so compact. It's really well made and it's made in Korea! I just used it for a minute, but liked the new touch panel system. Aside from that, I can't really tell more. If i sell my old Samsung V700 I would definitely look at the NV10 if I want a super slim camera.

The NV7 at the moment is what I am waiting for. I hope it will be good...

:-)

I have been happy with it so far... As the OP said, the build is very nice and the UI is great. The only dislike i have is the focusing system. Sometimes even the simplest of shot come out OOF. Like even some times landscapes shots are OOF. But its very rare. Most of the time the focus is great and fast :-)

No, Samsung does not release firmware updates (same for their GSM). Pro 815 seems to be the first one, and I can't really call it 'release'.

Hello everyone,

thanks for those sample-shots posted here.
I already checked the cam out in a local store and was stunned (as most of you).

But i've been trying to find a sample-movie from the NV10, i just found a NV3 movie.
Does anyone have a link or propably can share a sample-movie?

best, andy
