2 questions about M8 preview

Agreed, you can't attach your M lenses. But I'm surprised that someone with M lenses would want that. I honestly can't fathom holding out a M8 in front of you looking at the LCD to compose. To me, that defeats the entire purpose of a RF, and for that matter, a M.

But that's just me!:)

RF's were never made to use telephoto lenses. If you use them, this would not be the camera for you. You are not looking through the lens to focus as you are with a SLR. So you are looking at a tiny, tiny part of the picture to focus. 90 is about the longest you would want to go on a RF. I believe they have 135 but thats pushing it.

The point of a RF was to get close and shoot wide and do it quietly.

No one is claiming this camera is for everyone. It's not as versatile as a SLR.
