Just when I made my mind to get the 2 Xti bodies, I found a local store selling the Xt for $599 with the kit lens. I hate this decision making when things change unexpectedly. What to do now?
 
OK, so I will not even bother to do a cost benefit analysis givn that the Xt is ONLY $599 (LOL)

NO, don't bother. Mind you, only you know how much money you have and how the new feature benefits of the XTi will affect you. There is now enough info arguements here to make the decision easier. Why not get one of each then.
 
which shop is selling XT kit for $599??? I see $699 in most of the stores..
 
will you be more satisfied buying the latest technology? (which is short lived)

Or will you be more satisfied buying the cheaper alternative and spending the difference on good lenses? (something that will hopefully outlast many body upgrades)
