Does anyone know if there are protective filters (UV or Haze) available for the CP5000 lens? I have a uv filter with a 28mm thread, but it doesn't fit the threads on the lens.

Thanks,
Bill

You need a UR-E5 from Nikon then a 46-52mm step up ring and then a 52mm UV or skylight filter and cap and you're all set.

I purchaed a 46mm UV from Penn Camera; about $12.00 US. It fits directly onto the UR-E6 and gives you a feeling of security. I know everything should work well without it but having the lenses protected and inside the filter is a warm fuzzy.
