My short movie done with D50

Hi Martin,

As usual, OUTSTANDING!

I did an experiment with my D70 and it worked quiet well. I had planned to do some short movies (time laps) here in the Netherlands but unfortunatley my D70 got the Bglod (blinking green light of death). My other cameras aren't able to do continues shooting. So will wait for Nikon to repair the D70 and will try again.

Hope to see your name up for first prize at the festivals..:)

au revoir mon ami,

Etienne

Creative, slick, visually appealing...

My question is: did you do anything to sync the audio to the frames? Or did you composite the frames essentially by hand? And lastly: what software for the editing?

Thanks for that...
:)

Hello Martin!
My name is Stas, I'm from Ukraine.

I just saw your trailer, and I'm very impressed!!! Your movie is so dramatic and beatiful - pleasure to see people who are creating real Art, but not just talking endless speaches about cameras.
Thank you!

Can't wait till 2007 to see full version! Will it be possible to download full story after festival from your site?

Good luck!

This is quite an achievement: both, from a technical point of view and from an artistical one. I enjoyed the trailer very much! I will be showing it to many people. This is really, really impressive! Awesome effort!

Amazing!

When the full movie will be ready, let us know if there will be any way to watch it.

Merci beaucoup pour votre commentaire, je suis hereux

This is not a commercial work, so I must to wait to share after I tried to be selected in the festivals. You know, almost all of them don't accept works previously exhibited, but I will inform here when will be available.
I'm very happy with the interest to look the whole work.
C'est mon petit hommage à Jean-Luc Godard et Wong Kar Wai
À bientôt

Salut Etienne

Merci pour avoir vu cet expérience, je souhaite aussi regarder mon nom dans quelque festival :)

I'm sorry about your D70, but, really, I guess the D50 is the best one for to do this kind of experiment (due the big buffer), I guess the Sony Alfa will be good but I don't know if works so fine at ISO1600 as the D50

thanks for looking. Really this is a manual work because you must to decide the transitions between each photo secuences. For the voices, this part was heavy, really heavy, we recorded the voices at studio after filming and I must to play with the frames to have moviment coincidence, not perfect but works fine.
About the soft. Adobe Premiere.
with respects

My Mac lets me down again - I can't view it. Any ideas anyone (and don't say 'get a PC' because, trust me, that's not going to happen!)

I like it as a short. Not sure I could make it through 30 minutes of it, but as an internet trailer it is really niiice!
