Show me your best pic with Canon S3 IS

Very surprised to see that the S3 makes such an excellent landscape camera. Any tips on your techniques? Was a tripod used? Any PP? Thanks for sharing!

A truly amazing camera!

To paraphrase the NRA's position, "Cameras don't take great photographs, PEOPLE take great photographs." I have seen astonding shots taken with basic cameras and just plain poop taken with Top Of The Line stuff.

Hi Don,

In answer to your question: All shots were hand held. A little post prep, resized etc, than added frames using Pixlabs.

I like the saturation that comes with the shots. Eg: deep green and reds and details of clouds.

I do a lot of landscape and country scenes. My old Oly 770 was perfect for that but I do like having the extra zoom and stabiliser.

Some great images in this thread, just shows what can be achieved from a super zoom camera!

Great stuff.
