amazing subjects! nice timing too.
I'd like to see the right side cropped out of the hanging spider and lizard pictures- I believe the backgrounds to be neutral and unimportant.
The flash is also a bit bright. Do you work with flash exposure at all? Maybe a diffuser?

My first macro shot with a flash. Only been trying to take top quality pictures about two weeks. Just got the Canon 100MM Macro a week or so ago, just got the flash about 4 days ago.The flash is also a bit bright. Do you work with flash exposure at
all? Maybe a diffuser?

Post your pics once you start expirementing with flash compensation and any other tricks you find. I stay away from flash, yet someday I know I'll have to learn to use it effectively. Looking forward to seeing what you find as I have the same lens and shoot similar subjects.
