If you could take a picture of anything in the world... something that has, up until this point in your life, not been available for you to shoot (or the opportunity will never/could never be possible)... what would it be?

For me that's easy... a private jam session, in studio, with the Beatles while they were writing/recording. Kinda like during the "Let It Be" or "Abbey Road" days... or even George Martin working in the control room by himself or with them.

i'd take a photo of area 51 where the u.s. goverment faked going to the moon. talk about your contraversial evidence... and then subsequent disappearence!

did anyone see that documentary that proves that there was NOOO way we landed on the moon? it was eye opening. i'm hard to convince about anything but this documentary showed about 20 irrefutable facts that demonstrate not only the impossibility using the technology available at that time but also the shoddy fake sets used.

i'd go into it more... things like, how the flag was blowing (not limp) on the moon, in space where there is no wind?!

and how by looking at the shadows from the photos taken you can clearly determine 2 light sources... ie the sun should be the only light source out there.

anyway, it was shocking and ooh so true. that's what i would photograph; that or my mysterious disappearence!

Shoot, I'd just be happy if I could take a picture of McCartney in the studio or anywhere for that matter. Have you heard his new song called Vanilla Sky on the soundtrack of the same movie? It's almost better than anything on his new album called Driving Rain. They were all pretty bitter toward one another toward the end I'd like to take a picture of the Beatles back when they were a happy go lucky group.

I could stew all night trying to pick that! So I'll do it as one of those say-the-first-thing-that-comes-into-your-mind games:

On the assumption that it could be a memento of something I could take part in, that would be Frederica von Stade at a small informal get-together.

a picture of Jesus hanging on the cross (to remind me that He paid the ultimate price for my sin).

...a picture of Christopher Columbus' face when learned that he had actually found the West Indies, 10,000 miles from where thought he was...India! The most famous sailor who got famous by accident...

Two people can't keep a secret, let alone the thousands that it would have taken to pull off a hoax of that size. We went to the moon a number of times.

What about the shuttle and the space station, are they also fake?

FYI - the flag had wires to hold it out straight.

My wedding.

Edna and I were married in a VERY small ceremony. (4 of us) in a area far, far away and a long, long time ago.
No one took pictures and we couldn't afford a photographer.

If I could go back and record that day, I would populate an album and give it to my wife so that she could see what I saw.

She was very beautiful then. Age has taken it's toll, but she is still beautiful, in a different way.
Ah, if only......

What a wonderful thought! I’m sure Edna would be nearly as happy just reading your message, as she would be if you could produce the album. Like you, I wish there was some way to go back and record all those special milestones. I can still see them in my mind’s eye but would be so much nicer to have the actual photographs.

I would just like to go back in time say 20 years and re-live those years all over with the 707 and a laptop with a huge hard drive! (maybe a tape backup too, there is alot to be captured with this great camera).

Checklist:

1. A/C 120v, check, not a problem, plenty exists.
2. DAT backup SCSI tape unit
3. extra backup tapes 4mm DAT (they haven't been invented yet)
4. extra batteries.
5. Memory sticks, the more the better.
6. 1 Gig laptop with 80gb hdd

7. Some sort of cover-up for the 707 to make it look like a regular old film camera, can't be too obvious.. Don't want to mess with the timeline.

what am I forgetting? :)

I would really like to hear more information regarding this documentary...or special...whatever it was.

When was it on? Who aired it? Anyone noteworthy in it? What was it called?

Any details you could provide would be greatly appreciated. I am now skeptical about being skeptical.

I have a good feeling that we made it to the moon.

money: you would have to have current currency, and plenty of it. you couldn't work..the job you had would keep someone else from working and send ripples down the time line. even spending the money would be dangerous. the only safe way would be to be inside a time bubble, no contact with the "real world", just micro-seconds ahead of the present time where you were at. no one could see you because you would be in their future. so, why limit yourself to 20 years? wouldn't you like to be at all the historic dates? mysteries, murders and questions solved...did o.j. do it? be in the texas book depository...at the building of the pyrimids...at the cross with christ...the posibilities are mind boggling!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought about that after my post. How about taking a list of winning lottery numbers and when the time is right, hit a big jackpot! plenty of cash to let me travel the world. When did the big lotto jackpots start anyway? I need to win around 50 mil. to be covered. I can't go winning multiple jackpots because it would be too suspicious...
