Firefox Display

Not sure what it is. Go into Tools, Options, Content and play with the settings. Make sure Java and Java script are enabled and Load Images. dPreview displays normally in my Firefox using the same version.
Good luck

Mike

I need help with FireFox 1.5.0.6. I cannot get the program to
display the DPReview site properly.
Firefox 1.5.0.6 is working fine for me on DPReview. What extensions have you installed? I suggest disabling all extensions, restarting Firefox, then seeing if it works ok. If it is ok, then the problem is in one of your extensions.

If the problem is not with an extension, then maybe it is related to some Options setting. I don't know what setting it might be though.

Are you using any proxy between you and DPReview? I've occasionally had odd results with some web sites that I traced to Proxomitron settings.

I've got 1.5.0.5 on , as I got fed-up of it updating itself whilst I was doing something and this made a right hang-up on me recently - so I don't let it do so now.

But I've got no problem with dpReview site and really I would not expect it if I did have the next version on - never had befiore.

With an update (as you've probably had it quite recently) I suspect it WILL be some Option setting or other... last time it updated for me I remember it did a few things to change what I had before - check all the Options in fine detail ...

THANKs to everyone for their suggestions. I have tried them all still no success. This system is connected to the main through a Wirless Linksys connection. I have FF 1.5.0.6 on both system. The main system displays correctly. This, the one I am currently using, will not display DPReview
properly.

Also, ALL other websites visited so far have display properly using FF1.5.0.6. DPReview will not.

Is there a "config file" I can copy from my main system to this one that may solve the problem.

Charlie

Forgot to add the obvious. Back up the Firefox version that is working with Mozbackup and Restore to the Firefox you are having trouble with.

Make a brand new Firefox profile, and see if the new profile has the same problem. If the new profile works fine, then you might need to copy your stuff (at least bookmarks) over to the new profile, and forget the old one.

THANKS AGAIN, Will try these suggestions.

I have done the remove and reinstall several times.

I have the main system backed up with Mozilla Backup, I will try that and the other suggestions.

Results tomorrow.

Charlie
