Has anyone found a source for the dark silicon skin? Would someone be so kind as to post a picture of the skin on their 750?
Much appreciated,

I searched the Casio forum and the web but nothing came up.
Thank for your kind assistance,

Here is a slightly OOF shot of the Z750 in the skin, next to my Canon S70. You can find them on eBay by searching for 'silicone Z750'. I keep saying this, and I'll say it again: this is the BEST aftermarket accessory you can get for a compact camera.

Thanks Archiver for putting me on to this, I just bought one on e-bay, turned up today, and it is a clever bit of work indeed. Fits easily, hugs the camera perfectly and really improves handling. Improves the colour too, I dislike shiny silver stuff!

Cheers

When I bought my Z750 from digitalrev.com (very low prices, fast shipping, lacklustre afterservice), they included a free velcro neoprene case. The case is large enough to slip the Z750 inside even with the skin. I carry the Z750 case on my belt, although I have to pull it out carefully because it catches on the walls of the case. If I had a clamshell case, it would be a lot better.

I often put the Z750 straight into my jacket pocket (contains no lint, zips up), and we go walking together. The skin makes it easy for me to put it in my lap with much less chance of it sliding off. I can't say enough about silicone skins, they really are awesome. Just wish I could get one for my F30!

(Being a total nut, my current interest is in the 1970's Olympus XA. It has has the original sliding clamshell case that allows you to put it straight in your pocket, even without a protective case. I have two Canon digitals with sliding lens covers, and the lens protection is swwweeeet. My Canon S70 goes straight in my shoulder bag without a case. Oh, am I rambling again???)

I noticed that there are several sellers/products on ebay and amazon. Are all of the silicone cases about the same or do some fit better than others?

Where did people buy from? vital_buy, t-dimension (gadget-aus), eximstyle (pda-now), boxwave, e2shop (che_sir)

Thanks

There are a few caveats, though. The Z750 won't fit into its charging cradle with the skin on. So, I've got a tiny USB reader for it, and bought an external charger (and extra battery, too) from SterlingTek. To get the battery and card out, you've got to peel the skin back about halfway, but it tdoesn't seem much worse for the wear, although I use my Z750 probably less than once a month. Overall the skin is a nice accessory, as most seem to agree.

Perhap this varies between cameras, because I can squeeze mine in. Mind you, I use three thick rubber bands to hold it in while the cradle is in session!

To remove the skin, I used to peel it down, like pulling down a sock, until I saw a post on the Canon forum. This fellow applied and removed the skin by using the LCD screen hole, not the end-hole. Much faster, much easier.
