There's uch noise about noise when it comes to this camera. I checked that same review before deciding on getting the FZ30 (tried an FZ7 for 2 weeks) to supplement my DSLR. It's not match for my DSLR as would not expect it to be, but it works just fine for what it is and produces many pleasing pictures. I really like the behavior of the camera and it has one of the best EVF's I've ever peered through, most of them are absolutely terrible.
