Help me out folks...is this a border collie? I shot this one while the dog was resting at a market in town. A perfect profile showing a row of canine teeth that proves to me (and others unknowing of this fact) that a dog bites to separate meat, but does not chew since there are no molar teeth in a dog's mouth. So when a dog bites it leaves puncture marks only.

There was no need to be wary of an approach because this wonderful loving dog was in its glory when a group of kids came up to it to pet it and the owner let the kids have their fun before he moved away to do some more outdoor market shopping.

I have seen some great dog shots on the forum over the past year. I'd like this one to be one more friendly addition to a beautiful (pet) pal.

Border collies are small dogs. If this is a large dog (can't tell from the pc), then it is a Bernese Mountain Dog.

Ok, and thanks. Already given that name by another reply above yours.

I must remember that name. If I wasn't subjected to severe dog dander alergies I would love to have owned such a dog. The children hauled, mauled and petted it while its own was busy shopping and that dog actually squealed and loved very minute of it.

How can you not love a dog like that?
